ListTap help

Set up your household.
Make your next list.

Accounts, shared households and shopping with Woolworths or Coles.

Your account and pantry

  1. Open ListTap, create your account and confirm your email. If you are joining a household, use the email address that was invited.
  2. Create your household or choose Join household for your invitation. A new household starts with 42 editable pantry items and an empty shopping list. Starter items have no retailer links yet.
  3. Review Your Pantry, edit the items to suit your home and add what you need to your shopping list. Your household members share these items.

For a forgotten password, use the reset option on the sign-in screen and follow the newest email. Never share passwords, confirmation links or reset links with support.

Share with your household

In Settings, open Members and invite someone using their email address. Share the ListTap website address with them yourself: invitations currently appear inside ListTap, rather than arriving as an invitation email. They sign in with that address and choose Join household.

Use the household selector to check which household you are viewing. A member can choose Leave household in Members. Leaving keeps the shared household data; a sole owner must arrange another owner before leaving.

Connect Woolworths or Coles

  1. Use desktop Chrome and install the single ListTap Shopping Helper from the Chrome Web Store. Reload ListTap after installation or an update. Full-list transfers require helper 1.8.8 or later. If that update is not available in the Store yet, wait for its release before sending a larger list.
  2. In Settings, open Shopping connections and choose your retailer. Sign in directly on the retailer website, create your own saved list named ListTap and paste its full list URL into ListTap. Save the connection. Repeat separately if you use both retailers.
  3. Shopping Helper 1.8.10 requests access to both retailers during installation, so Coles needs no separate activation. Chrome may ask existing users to approve the changed permissions during an update. You only need one helper for both retailers.
  4. Link each pantry item to its retailer product page in Shopping connections or Edit pantry item. Check the exact product and set a whole quantity from 1 to 10. Each retailer needs its own product links. Saving a link adds nothing to the retailer cart.

Send your shopping list

  1. From Shopping list, choose your retailer and open Send. Review linked products and quantities. Items without a link are shown separately and are not sent.
  2. Send your full list of up to 50 different retailer products in one transfer. The limit counts different product codes, not total units. If two pantry items link to the same product, their quantities combine and must total no more than 10.
  3. Confirm the retailer location if asked, then send once. Keep ListTap open while the helper works in the background. Sign in on the retailer website if requested and resume only when ListTap tells you to.
  4. When the retailer cart opens, check exact products and quantities before checkout. A transfer does not place an order or make a payment.
  5. After buying the items, use Mark purchased for the matching verified items. Items that were not sent, or changed since the transfer, stay on your ListTap list.

For larger shops: the current release supports the full 50-item shopping-list capacity in one transfer. There is no ten-product transfer cap. If you choose to send only part of your list, unselected items stay on ListTap. Before starting another transfer, review the first result. A new transfer replaces the current transfer receipt, so do not rely on its Mark purchased action to cover an earlier batch. Review and mark any earlier purchases separately.

If a transfer stops or cannot be confirmed, inspect the actual retailer cart before trying again. Some actions may already have completed. There are no automatic substitutions or checkout actions.

Hub and Taps

Hardware is still in development. Device setup instructions and a pairing code are available under Devices when your kit is ready. Follow the instructions for your supplied hardware. Contact support if setup fails; opening the enclosure or disconnecting a battery is not a routine recovery step.

Support and email preferences

Email support@listtap.com.au for help. Tell us which screen you used and what happened. You can include a screenshot or the helper report if offered, but remove account details and never send passwords, cookies or sign-in links.

To stop launch or marketing emails, email support@listtap.com.au with the subject Unsubscribe from the address that receives the updates. Requests are processed manually. This does not delete your account or stop essential account messages. You can also use the enquiry form to request an opt-out. Unticking its marketing box on a repeat enquiry is not an unsubscribe request. We retain an opt-out record to prevent future marketing sends.
